Found it while backing up my back ups. Not the best quality due to shit glass, but I like it.

The Never Ending Search for Models and Recent Shoot
God I hate looking for models. Im sure if I wasnt so picky, it would be a lot easier. Now, I am in no position to be look specific, but I am. They have to have a certain look. If they are boring, Im sure my shots will be boring. Once I find interesting people, convincing them is a whole new ball game. Getting to know them is yet another process in it own. Hopefully when we have a consultation, we both make an impression on each other. Its no fun shooting with people if they/you arent comfortable. Then comes the actual shoot. Everything is on me. My main weakness, telling the model what to do. I hate it, unless you are working with an actuall model its a pain. Im not one to be satisfied with a forced or posed look. I like it when they look natural and if I dont even exist. I usually tell the subject to just act naturally. If they need help going for a certain look, I do it myself so they can see what I mean. Usually works fine and I get a laugh out of them. Luckily my last shoot, my friend Marisa modeled for me. And her boyfriend Jon was awesome to let me use his work's studio and equipment. To think I turned down using a D2x, but thats a whole 'nother post.
Here are some of the shots I selected and liked.

The client was happy with the shots. This shoot was a first for me with working with a 3rd person. Learned a few things, became a lil bit more professional, and had a great time even through some of the problems along the way. One new successful client I can add to my contacts.

Horrible Conditions = Great Day
After 3 months of us first meeting, Aly finally got to work with me and vice versa. She chose the location, which looked intriguing and eerie. Well ironically enough, the dead mangrooves where under more water than before. Walking thru the rivers silt made it almost enough to call it quicksand. Then you had the stingrays, tiny lil guys who kept to themselves mostly. Almost there now. Not 30 feet before we get to the location, my best friend Alyssa steps on a rather sharp rock, and recieves a 1/2 inch gash on her foot. Fast forward....
The lighting sucked. Id get my settings down and exposure set perfectly, and what happens? The damn sun goes behind a cloud. Now repeat this for 2 hours. The final straw that broke the camels back was the rain. Started off as a slight drizzle, then into a light rain. At this point, I didnt want to push my camera past the limits. Pack everything up and start walking. The clouds were ominous and lighting was expected. So what happens? It stops raining and the damn sun comes back out. Man today just wasnt meant for anyone. You know what though? I had a blast!

Those are the only ones I am posting. The laptop is getting sent out as soon as I get the box HP sent me.
